Ok... I've never done a blog before, but here goes!
I figured I would give this a try and post some of the many craft Ideas that I've done and the many that I plan on doing. :)
I have so many projects lined up that I want to do or that I've heard would be awesome, and I just discovered Pinterest recently! Yeah, I'm addicted! There are just so many awesome ideas out there and that site just makes it that much easier to view and let the creative juices massively flow!
Just the other day I used the DIY chalk board paint idea to make a gift for one of my daughter's teachers. I made a chalk board clip board for her. I used hibiscus pink paint and painted the front and back of the clip board, then sanded the paint down for a smooth surface. After that I put a piece of ribbon lengthwise as an accent and a smaller ribbon as a small loop underneath the first ribbon to hold the chalk! Then just add a little decorative initial in the lower corner and it turned into a cute, awesome but cheap gift for her teacher! I'm kicking myself for not taking pictures, but I plan on making another for my daughter and some for teachers to come, so I will definitely take pictures next time and post them for everyone to see!
I will do my best to post fairly regularly. I'm slowly but surely getting myself to do more online. I've never really been one to do more than surf the web before. I did good to check my mail once a month before my daughter started school. Now I have to do almost EVERYTHING through e-mail. I'm now checking my mail if not every day then every other day! Amazing right?!?
